Total Station Topcon GM 55 memiliki akurasi 5 detik yang dapat mengukur dengan baik dan juga akurat. Kemudian di lengkapi dengan laser untuk pengukuran lebih presisi, bluetooth untuk transfer data, serta layar untuk menampilkan informasi pengukuran.

Alat ini mampu mengukur jarak 500 meter tanpa menggunakan prisma (reflectorless) dan jarak 4 km dengan bantuan prisma. Tersedia memori yang mampu menyimpan hingga 50.000 point, daya baterai kuat hingga 14 jam pemakaian serta sudah bersertifikasi IP66 yang tahan terhadap air dan juga debu.
